Linda Polkowski is British with over 30 years of experience teaching international students at universities and language schools in the UK, as well as in Japan and Iceland. She is currently a Teacher Trainer and has also tutored Masters in Management students at the Universities of York and Manchester. A few years ago she was fortunate enough to be invited to participate in the Prolant Cap Erasmus project, which was part of the Learn & Lead programme. In this project she was the lead CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) trainer and was passionate about observing, advising and leading CLIL sessions with colleagues from six EU countries. In addition, she is the author of the Prolant Cap Trainer Competency Framework. She has since delivered a number of practical CLIL training sessions in Slovakia and would like to continue this work to help teachers and trainers reach their full potential.
