Ivan Polák is one of those students who are proof that the right approach, quality teaching and a friendly environment can bring visible results. Our journey together started back in 2002-2003,when Ivan was one of the first students of Harmony Academy. Years later, we met again in September 2024 and it was clear to me that he deserved the best - best practice, top quality teaching and a supportive, stimulating environment. In 2024, Ivan decided to return to English in order to improve his communication skills. He sees his progress "in a meaningful way",focusing on the practical use of language: discussions, questions and answers that have helped him develop the ability to respond and think in English.
"The biggest benefit for me was just the free conversations. Not only did I pick up new expressions like apparently and admittedly,but I also gained more confidence in speaking, which is a huge step forward for me personally," says Ivan.

Ivan's job requires him to communicate with international partners, which is why the ability to speak fluent English is crucial for him. "Thanks to the classes at Harmony Academy, I have improved my communication with my German partners considerably and I feel much more confident in work situations."
